ONU TALLY EIGHT GOALS IN WIN OVER JUDSON

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's soccer team fired eight goals past the defending regular season Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference champions as the Tigers routed the Judson Eagles 8-1 Wednesday afternoon. Olivia Lorenc and Alaina Bahr each scored twice with each tacking on an assist in the win.

The Tigers fell behind only 14 seconds into the contest as the Eagles scored the opening goal. The early lead was short-lived following an Abbey Cash corner kick. A fortunate bounce off a Judson defender found its way into the back of the net at the 4:08-mark for an own goal. Kaylee Evers scored her first goal of the season in the 14th minute, assisted by Marissa Anderson, as ONU took a lead they would not relinquish. Cash doubled the lead with less than four minutes in the first half with the assist credited to Camille Cote. Olivet carried the two-goal lead into the break.

ONU's first shot of the second half beat the Judson netminder to increase the lead to 4-1. Bahr tallied her first goal of the match while Evers doled out the assist in the 49th minute. The Tigers proceeded to score four additional goals in quick succession. Within the span of ten minutes, Lorenc (2), Sara Loichinger, and Bahr each added to the score total.
