The Tigers kept pace throughout the opening frame, highlighted by strong connections between Tomas Gonzalez and his hitters, including multiple kills from Nic VanOort and Cade Ooms. Despite holding momentum midway through the set, Lourdes closed on a late run to secure the 1-0 match lead.
