TIGERS ROAR BACK IN OPENER, BATTLED TO THE END IN LOW-SCORING GAME TWO

St. Ambrose (IA)- Olivet Nazarene used a late offensive surge and strong bullpen work to pull away from St. Ambrose for a 9–4 win in Iowa City. After falling behind 3–0 in the fourth, the Tigers answered with an RBI single from Andrew Mack and a balk-induced run to close the gap. Landon Holt tied the game in the seventh with a two-run homer, and Connor Janik followed an inning later with a go-ahead solo shot. The Tigers sealed the win with a four-run ninth inning, capitalizing on a throwing error that brought in two runs before Alex Seaton doubled home two more. Olivet finished with 11 hits, including multi-hit days from Holt, Janik, Mack, Bogan, and Seaton. On the mound, Tyler Snoreck and Camden Kearney kept the Tigers within striking distance, and Owen Roberts was perfect over the final three innings, retiring all nine batters he faced to earn the win. The performance highlighted Olivet's resilience and late-game execution on the road.

In game two, Olivet Nazarene battled on the mound but couldn't find the offense it needed in a 2–0 loss. The Tigers were held to three hits and never broke through despite several competitive at-bats and quality pitching that kept the game within reach throughout. Evan Anderson turned in a strong outing, allowing just three hits and only one earned run over 5.2 innings. He struck out three, worked around traffic, and kept St. Ambrose from putting together any big innings. Bryson Horning followed with a strikeout to end the sixth, giving Olivet a chance heading into the final frame. At the plate, Mason Bogan led the Tigers with two hits, continuing his steady production in the series. Olivet also flashed solid defense, turning a double play and limiting the Bees to just three total hits. Despite the loss, the Tigers' pitching and defensive execution stood out, giving them a foundation to build on as they look to bounce back offensively in their next outing.
