Olivet opened the first set with a lineup featuring Cameron Johnston, Max Rodenmeyer, Nic VanOort, Ben Kreke, Cade Ooms, and Tomas Gonzalez. In the second set, Olivet started strong, with a block by Gonzalez and kills from Ooms and Rodenmeyer keeping the score close. Johnston recorded a key kill assisted by Gonzalez, but continued service and attack errors allowed their opponent to pull ahead, and Olivet dropped the set 25-15.

Olivet made a strong push in the third set, highlighted by a service ace from Johnston that brought the score to 4-5 and a block by Byers and Kreke that helped the team tie the score at 6-6. Despite these efforts, momentum shifted late in the set, and Olivet fell 25-17, ending the match.

Individual contributions included Gonzalez recording a perfect hitting percentage with one kill on one attempt.
