The match opened with Olivet Nazarene trading points but quickly gaining momentum thanks to key kills from Cameron Johnston and Cade Ooms, set up by Tomas Gonzalez. Despite some service errors, the Tigers maintained pressure and closed the first set 25-21, capitalizing on Viterbo's miscues.
Olivet bounced back in the third set after dropping the second, with critical plays from Johnston and Ben Kreke, again assisted by Gonzalez. The Tigers held off a late Viterbo rally, clinching the set 26-24. In the fourth set, Olivet Nazarene established an early lead with strong attacking and blocking, including pivotal contributions from Nic VanOort, Ooms, and Will Byers, ultimately closing the match 25-19.
