TIGERS SWEEP CCAC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - The Olivet Nazarene University men's track & field team dominated the 2026 CCAC Indoor Championships, winning the conference title with 325.5 points, the top total after 19 events, in front of a home crowd at the Douglas E. Perry Student Life & Recreation Center. The two‑day championship meet was hosted on ONU's campus February 20–21. ONU excelled across all event groups, securing multiple individual conference titles, a relay championship, and broke and tied meet records in the process.

Leading the way for the men's team were several event champions. 

Additionally, meet records were tied and set in various events. 

  • Robinson broke the Weight Throw meet record (18.82m)
  • Mack tied the 60m meet record (6.87)
  • Bardwell, L. Johnson, A. Johnson, and Tice broke the 4x800 meet record (7:53.00)

ONU was well-represented in the Awards portion of the event as well, with a few individuals being recognized for their contributions and accomplishments. 

  • Marcus Robinson — Field Most Outstanding Athlete
  • Matt Adams (throws) — Assistant Coach of the Year
  • Kyle Rago — Coach of the Year

 

The Tigers now shift their focus toward the NAIA Indoor National Championships, held in Gainesville, Fla. from March 5-7.
