ONU MEN EARN DOUBLES POINT BUT DROP MATCH TO IWU

GREENTOWN, Ind. - Olivet Nazarene University men's tennis turned in a competitive effort on the road Saturday, taking two of three doubles courts and pushing several singles matches before falling 4–1 to Indiana Wesleyan, with two singles matches left unfinished.

ONU shined in doubles play, highlighted by a strong No. 1 win from Chatton Haws and Paul Saleh, who claimed a 6–3 victory over #17 nationally ranked Matheus Lima and Michail Klinkov. At No. 3, Adam Hartford and Martin Melnizky outlasted their Wildcat opponents in a 7–6(6) thriller, giving the Tigers momentum early.

In singles competition, Adam Hartford led the way, taking the first set of his match 6–4 before play was halted. Lucas Latil also delivered a standout performance, splitting sets and reaching a decisive third‑set tiebreak in one of the tightest matches of the day. Keenan Haws earned games in the second set of his matchup before the match was stopped. The remaining three singles matches were dropped in straight sets to finish off the ONU loss.
