WOMEN'S SWIMMING POSTS TOP 10 FINISH AT NAIA CHAMPIONSHIPS

ELKHART, Ind. - The Olivet Nazarene University women's swim team delivered an impressive slate of performances across the board, earning multiple top‑10 finishes, personal bests, and season-best swims throughout a competitive weekend at the NAIA Championships in Elkhart, Indiana. The Tigers compiled 132 points to finish 9th in the 23-team field. 

Alyssa Osborn put together one of the team's most versatile outings, highlighted by a 7th‑place finish in the 200 Free with a personal best time of 1:53.61. She added another personal best leading off the 400 Free Relay in 52.62 as the group placed 9th. Osborn's relay contributions were consistent throughout the meet, also anchoring the 200 Free Relay and 800 Free Relay and swimming the fly leg in the 400 Medley Relay.

Kayla Parry shined in the 200 Fly, finishing 2nd overall with a season-best 2:04.79—one of the top individual swims of the meet. She also competed in the demanding 400 IM and contributed a 2:02.13 leadoff on the 800 Free Relay, helping guide that group to a top‑10 finish.

Distance and backstroke specialist Katelyn Inman continued her strong season with season-best times in both the 500 Free (5:10.65, 13th) and the 200 Back (2:06.50, 8th). She was also a reliable relay performer, posting competitive splits in the 400 and 800 Free Relays and leading off both medley relays.

In the breaststroke events, Mackenzie Bushey delivered a standout season-best time of 2:21.89 in the 200 Breast, earning 6th place. She added a 12th‑place finish in the 200 IM and contributed breaststroke legs on both medley relays.

Sprinter Mia Points made a strong impact in the relay events, anchoring the 200 and 400 Medley Relays and turning in fast closing splits on the 200 and 400 Free Relays. Her 52.95 finish on the 400 Free Relay helped the team secure another top‑10 placement.

Skyler Chandlee added depth in the sprint freestyle events, notching strong relay splits including a 53.50 in the 400 Free Relay. Taylor King contributed in multiple relays as well, including a 25.37 leadoff on the 200 Free Relay and a fly leg on the 200 Medley Relay, along with a 1:57.72 split in the 800 Free Relay.

Rounding out the individual results, distance swimmer Kelli Moore took on the demanding 1650 Free, finishing 25th with a time of 19:18.23 and Grace Barnhart narrowly missed out advancing to the finals in the 200 Free after finishing in a time of 2:00.30.
