TIGERS SPLIT THEIR SERIES ON THE ROAD AGAINST INDIANA TECH, RECORDING 1-1 FOR THE WEEKEND

Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Tigers split their weekend series on the road against Indiana Tech, falling 4-0 in the opener before earning a 10-0 run-rule victory in game two.

In game one, Indiana Tech scored twice in the second, added a solo home run in the third, and pushed across one more in the sixth. Olivet was limited to three hits, with Adams recording two and Strines adding one. The Tigers played clean defense but were unable to capitalize offensively.

Olivet responded quickly in game two, scoring four runs in the first inning. Adams set the tone on the bases, Contreras moved runners over, Brennan reached to bring in a run, Hause delivered an RBI single, and Strines capped the inning with a two-RBI double.

The Tigers broke the game open in the fourth with five more runs. Contreras and Brennan each drove in two, and Calo added an RBI groundout. Hause later added another RBI single in the fifth to secure the 10-0 shutout.
