ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams had a strong finish to their season at the NAIA Championships in Asheville, North Carolina. Led by the men's 4x400 relay team that captured gold, the Tigers accumulated several podium finishes both on the track and in the field.

Men

The men's 4x400m relay team team consisting of Eric White, Connor Price, Noah Mack, and Darrin Dussett blazed to a first-place finish and earned the program's only gold medal of the week. Two strong legs to start the race put Mack in third-place when he received the baton. By the time Dussett took the track for the final leg, the Tigers were in the lead and he would not relinquish it. The Tigers finished with a time of 3:10.27 to secure the title.

In the shot put, Marcus Robinson and Okenoko Pascall both scored for the Tigers. Robinson only had one successful attempt, but he made it count. His mark of 16.93m secured him fourth place overall. Pascall improved his mark on each of his first three attempts, eventually landing at 16.73m to put him at sixth place in the overall standings.
