TIGERS BATTLE THROUGH THREE GAMES, FINISHING 2-1

Olivet Nazarene put together a strong three-game stretch, finishing 2-1 while showcasing both offensive firepower and dominant pitching.

The Tigers opened with an 8-4 win, collecting 17 hits and erupting for five runs in the seventh inning to pull away. Key contributions came from Gwen Bender and Rheanna Slavicek, while Victoria Strines threw a complete game to secure the victory.

In game two, Olivet Nazarene fell just short in a high-scoring 14-11 battle despite recording 18 hits. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead with a five-run first inning and continued to produce offensively behind standout performances from Stephanie Hause, Slavicek, and Strines, but could not overcome the deficit.

The series closed with a 1-0 win, as Strines delivered a complete-game shutout and Gaetana Calo provided the game's only run with a solo home run.

Across all three games, the Tigers showed consistency at the plate and resilience in close contests.
