WHITCRAFT EARNS CCAC WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD WEEKLY HONOR
CHICAGO, Ill. - A standout performance by Olivet Nazarene University's Haylee Whitcraft (Spring Hill, Kan.) has earned her Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Field Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the league office Thursday.
Whitcraft delivered one of the top javelin throws in the NAIA this season while competing at the prestigious Drake Relays on Saturday. Her mark of 44.35 meters not only met the NAIA 'A' qualifying standard, but also ranks as the second-best throw in the NAIA this year.
The impressive effort solidified Whitcraft's position among the nation's elite javelin throwers and highlights her continued success during the outdoor track & field season for the Tigers.
