KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Olivet Nazarene University swimmer Megan Schroeder was named to the prestigious 2022-23 Academic All-America Women's Swimming & Diving Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Schroeder was named to the first team.
The CoSIDA Academic All-America Team is comprised of student-athletes from NAIA institutions and is selected based on the students' work on the field and in the classroom. Nominees must be starters or important reserves, sophomores or older, with at least 3.30 cumulative grade point averages.
The 14 members of the first team posted an average GPA of 3.83. Click HERE to see the full list of honorees.
The Bourbonnais, Ill. native was a 2023 NAIA All-American, placing fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke at the National Championships with a time of 1:03.89. Schroeder helped the Tigers bring home their second-consecutive third-place trophy at the NAIA Championships in early March. The senior also helped win ONU's fourth-straight team title at the KCAC Championships and was a part of the conference champion 400-freestyle relay team. She is majoring in Civil Engineering at ONU.
