BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The RV Olivet Nazarene University women's soccer team ran off to a 4-2 victory over the Trojans of Trinity International Saturday night at Snowbarger Athletic Complex. The Tiger's Alaina Bahr highlighted the night with a goal and assist in the contest.
It took Melea Miller just 11:52 to put ONU on the board for the first time. The freshman attacker was assisted by Bahr for the 1-0 lead. The Trojans came with a quick response just 1:04 later. Abigail Olsson netted the equalizer assisted by Cresencia Kerr.
Olivet regained their lead and doubled it with two unanswered goals before the break. Emily Greene netted the go-ahead goal off a corner kick from Susanna Lindquist in the 29th minute. Alaina Bahr scored the final goal of the first period in the 36th minute as the Tigers carried a 3-1 lead into halftime.

ONU picked up right where they left off drawing a foul inside TIU's penalty box. Sara Loichinger stepped up and buried the goal-scoring opportunity at the 49:36-mark. The Trojans drew a goal back by scoring in the 69th minute giving the visitors new life. It was short-lived as Miller registered her second goal of the match to thwart a chance of a Trinity International comeback.
