MARSHALL COLLECTS CCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS AFTER DOUBLE-DOUBLE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University senior forward Brooklyn Marshall has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, showcasing a powerful blend of scoring efficiency and rebounding dominance during a pair of league victories last week for the Tigers.

Marshall, a Metamora, Ill. native, averaged a double-double for the week, posting 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 60 percent from the field (15-of-25) and converting 8-of-9 free throws.

Marshall's week started with a commanding showing in ONU's 119-42 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph on Wednesday. She scored 18 points and hauled in 14 rebounds, recording her second double-double of the season. Notably, 11 of those rebounds came on the offensive glass, leading to numerous second-chance opportunities.

She followed up with an even stronger outing on Saturday in a 111-69 victory over Indiana University Northwest, where she notched a season-high 20 points while shooting 8-of-12 from the floor (.667). Marshall added seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks, delivering one of her most complete performances of the season.

With Marshall anchoring both ends of the floor, the Tigers picked up two pivotal conference wins and remained firmly in contention for the CCAC's top spot. ONU now sits at 13-5 overall and 9-1 in league play.
