TIGERBALL TO HOST HOLY CROSS IN CCAC TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINALS

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – After their best CCAC finish in five years, the Olivet Nazarene University women's basketball team will enter the postseason Wednesday when they host Holy Cross in the quarterfinal round of the CCAC Tournament.

Tigerball finished the regular season on a four-game win streak to secure sole possession of second place in the league standings with a 16-4 CCAC record, marking their best finish in the conference since the 2019-2020 squad also earned runner-up.

Holy Cross ended the regular season with a 16-12 record, including a 10-10 mark in CCAC play to finish seventh in the conference standings. The Saints have struggled lately, losing three of their last four games heading into the postseason.

ONU and HCC split their two regular-season matchups, with each team defending its home court. The Saints defeated the Tigers 101-88 in Notre Dame, Ind., on Jan. 8, and ONU retaliated with a 90-85 win in McHie Arena on Feb. 12.

The winner will face the victor of the St. Francis (Ill.)-Indiana South Bend matchup in a semifinal Friday. The championship game will be played Monday, March 3.
