WHEATON, Ill. – The No. 6 Olivet Nazarene University men's swimming and dive team traveled to NCAA Division Three opponent Wheaton College for a Saturday afternoon dual.  Wheaton defeated the Tigers 194-54. 

The Tigers did not see a first-place winner but saw a good showing overall on the day.  The Tigers started the meet with a third-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay.  The team of Liam Kuiper, Alejandro Evreinoff-Salinas, Christian Mikrut, and Erik Firganek finished with a time of 1:37.77.  Later in the meet, Mikrut and Connor Harrison finished second and third in the 200-yard butterfly with times of 1:58.94 and 2:02.10.  Nicholas Klenner and Mason Beall, then, claimed second and third place in the 100-yard freestyle finishing with times of 49 seconds and 49.45 seconds. 

Kuiper then followed Klenner and Beall up with a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, crossing the finish line in 2:02.50.  Later in the meet, Beall won second-place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:00.37.  Mikrut then continued his successful day in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the board second at 52.28 seconds. 

The Tigers finished the meet with a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay and fell 194-54.
