CALEB STINESPRING LEADS THE TIGERS AT THE PILOT SPRING INVITATIONAL

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's golf team competed in its final tune-up before the CCAC Championships as they played in the Pilot Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday.  The Tigers finished in fifth place as a team. 

 

Leading the charge for the Tigers was Caleb Stinespring.  The Tiger freshman was the clubhouse leader after the first round as she shot a 72.  In round two, Steinespring carded a final round 79 and finished in tied for sixth place.  Kyle Spence then finished in tied for 16th place after carding a score of +13.  Conor Butts rounded out the top-20 finishers for the Tigers as he shot a +15 and finished in tied for 19th.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Tigers travel to Silvis, Ill. as they play in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships on Monday, April 25th through Tuesday, April 26th.  The championships are being held at TPC Deere Run.
