TIGER GOLF FALLS IN MATCH PLAY EVENT AGAINST BETHEL ON MONDAY
SAINT ANNE, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's golf teams competed in a match play event with nationally-ranked Bethel University (Ind.) at the Kankakee Elks Country Club on Monday.
The Tigers got off to a good start as they took the first round of play, 5-1. In the scramble round, Bethel bounced back to win the round, 4.5-1.5. ONU had a 6.5-5.5 advantage before the match play round. Unfortunately, Bethel won the match play round 9.5-2.5 and won the event, 15-9. Each round was played in nine holes.
