EDWARDS EARNS SECOND CONSECUTIVE CCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
CHICAGO, Ill. — For the second consecutive week, Eli Edwards has been named the CCAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.
The senior forward/center scored 32 points in Saturday's 84-81 loss to Indiana Kokomo. Edwards shot 12-16 from the field, 1-2 from three-point range, and was 7-8 at the free throw line, to go with nine rebounds.
Edwards' 32 points is one shy of his career best, which he set last week on his way to the first of two conference honors.
Edwards looks to continue his hot streak as the Tigers open conference play tomorrow at Judson.
