COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's cross country team wrapped their 2024 campaign with a 22nd-place team finish at the NAIA National Championships Friday morning at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.

Sophomore runner Hannah Haag led ONU at nationals for the second straight year, crossing the line in 22:22 to finish 64th among the 326 women's runners. Freshman harrier Aleigha Garrison joined her teammate in the top 100 with a 93rd place finish at 22:42.

Claire Carter crossed the finish line in 23:24 to place 176th overall. Catherine White was just a few paces behind her in 188th place with a time of 23:31. Bella Hoffer rounded out the ONU scoring in 235th place at 24:02. Eleanor Fournier and Lauren Smith also competed for the Tigers at the national meet.

The Tigers tallied 604 points to place 22nd in the 35-team field. The Master's took home the red banner with a final score of 92 points. 

ONU's 22nd-place finish at the 2024 NAIA Cross Country Championships is a two-spot improvement from last season's 24th overall placement in 2023.
