GARRISON MAKES COLLEGIATE DEBUT A CCAC AWARD WINNER
CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University's Aleigha Garrison needed just one race to make her mark on the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference scene after she was named the league's Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday morning for her performance during the seven-day period between Sept. 2-8.
In her inaugural collegiate meet, the freshman secured a fourth-place finish among 45 runners competing at the Lewis University Early Bird on Friday with her time of 14:57 on the 4K course.
Garrison's efforts helped Olivet Nazarene earn a second-place team finish among the five schools competing.
