VANCOUVER, Wash. – The No. 12 Olivet Nazarene University women's cross country team concluded its 2021 season at the NAIA National Championships on Friday. The Tigers finished in 13th place out of 36 schools.
Leading the way for the Tigers was Jaclyn Latocha who finished in 62nd place with a time of 19:18.1. Latocha was the fifth highest individual finisher in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). Just finishing a tenth-of-a-second behind Latocha was Sarai Vargas with a time of 19:18.2. Vargas crossed the finish line in 63rd place. Following Latocha and Vargas was Taylor Widder. Widder finished in 123rd place and clocked a time of 19:47.0.
Jacey Schickel, Eleonor Fournier, Lauren Smith, and Elise Champlin rounded out the rest of the Tigers as finished with their best finish since 2018 when they finished in 12th place.
