NO. 12 TIGERS HAVE STRONG SHOWING AT THE CCAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The No. 12 Olivet Nazarene University women's cross-country team competed in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships on Saturday morning at the Aspen Ridge Golf Course.  The Tigers placed as the meet's runner-up only behind St. Francis. St. Xavier and Judson rounded out the top four team finishes in the meet. 

 

Leading the way for the Tigers were Jaclyn Latocha and Eleanor Fournier.  Latocha finished fifth, with a time of 18:30.13 and Fournier clocked in a time of 18:49.14, finishing in sixth place.  Following Latocha and Fournier was Taylor Widder, who finished in ninth place, with a time of 19:19.46.

 

Jacey Schickel and Sarai Vargas rounded out the top-20 finishers for the Tigers as they marked 16th and 20th place finishes, with times of 19:44.41 and 20:03.34, respectively.  ONU then saw two more runners finishing in the top-30.  Lauren Smith crossed the finish line in 24th place, while Lindsey DiazDeLeon finished in 29th.
