CHANNAHON, Ill. – Taylor Vallangeon led the Olivet Nazarene University men's cross country team to a runner-up finish at the CCAC Championships Saturday morning. All five of the ONU scorers were All-Conference finishers.
Vallangeon blitzed to a time of 25:06.5 to win the individual crown, taking the top spot by over 10 seconds. This marks Vallangeon's second CCAC individual title, bringing home the conference gold back in 2020. He is only the second Tiger in program history to win the CCAC individual title multiple times, with Kacey Carr winning it three years in a row from 2005-07.
Enrique Romo penned a top-five finish, crossing the finish line at 25:24.2 to place fourth overall. Jordan VanBarriger and Flynn Prather crossed the finish line together to place sixth and seventh, respectively. Freshman harrier Austin Rush rounded out the scoring for ONU with an All-Conference finish in 14th place.
