NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Olivet Nazarene men's soccer team scored three second-half goals to down the Holy Cross College Saints ,3-1, Wednesday afternoon on the road. The Tigers concluded their away schedule with a 5-2 record on the road.
The Saints struck early from a set-piece opportunity in fourth minute to make it 1-0. The ball dropped inside the six-yard box where a Holy Cross toe-poke was enough to beat Mike Giannotta. Justin Eisenmann was played in on goal midway through the period but could not lift the ball high enough to beat the opposing netminder. Max Jasper was given an opportunity moments later. His attempt flashed just wide of the right post. Fabio Hasler was on the end of the Tiger's best chance of the half just before the intermission. He knocked a bouncing ball over the goalkeeper but was saved off the goal line by a Saints defender.
