BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene men's soccer team scored three times from set piece plays to take down the University of Jamestown Jimmies, 5-2, at home during the ONU Labor Day Classic Saturday night at Snowbarger Sports Complex. Ruben D'Hollosy tallied two goals in the victory.
The Tigers struck twice within 67 seconds to get off on the front foot. A full-volley from the top of the 18-yard box off the boot of Benjamin Struebelt opened the scoring in the eighth minute. The ONU frontline pressure forced a turnover in the offensive third of the field. Max Jasper played Nick Kilian out wide resulting in Olivet's second goal of the match. Jamestown scored against the run of play in the 29-minute mark to cut the lead in half. The score in favor of the Tigers stood at 2-1 at the intermission

From two goals down early, the Jimmies tied the match in the 48th minute after Diego Valle scored top bins from distance. D'Hollosy immediately answered with the last touch on Marten Imping's set piece cross to regain the lead only 82 seconds later. D'Hollosy completed the brace in the 63-minute mark. Maxim Ngom knocked down the ball from the far post for the defender to poke it home. Max Jasper joined the scoring festivities with a goal off the head, assisted by Kilian in the 67th minute.
