BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University football punter Andrew Ryczek was awarded his first career Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Special Teams Player of the Week as the League announced their selections on Monday.

Ryczek was a jack-of-all-trades in the special teams game in Saturday's loss against St. Francis. The native of Round Lake Beach, Ill., punted the ball four times for 166 yards and placed three punts inside-the-20 and had two of those go as touchbacks.  In the kicking game, Ryczek made a 24-yard field goal and made 3-of-4 extra points.

On six kickoffs, Ryczek kicked the ball 307 yards, averaging 51.2 yards a kick, and amassed two touchbacks.  In eight games this season, the Tiger punter has punted 30 times for 1,068 yards and averages 35.6 yards a kick.

The Tigers welcome the Trojans of Trinity International University on Saturday, November 6th at 1 p.m. at Ward Field.
