BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University and Campbellsville University faced off in the battle of the Tigers for the last round of the 2022 Holiday Inn Classic at McHie Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Both squads brought the heat in the first set. After a lot of back and forth in lead change, CU eventually pushed harder and managed to keep the set under their control. ONU tried to keep up with multiple kills but ultimately surrendered the set to the CU Tigers with a score of 23-25.

CU brought the heat in the second set, lighting up the court with five straight points. ONU applied the pressure, bringing in a number of kills. The CU Tigers kept the energy and snatched the set from ONU, ending in a score of 25-16.

The third and final set of the match proved to be no different for CSU. Both teams went back and forth, but CU held the lead for the entire set. ONU showed immense skill on the court before falling to CU, 10-25, which gave Campbellsville their largest lead of the game and the overall victory.
