ANTKOVIAK TABBED AS THE CCAC WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University women's track and field sprinter Hannah Antkoviak earned her first career Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor.  The organization announced its selections on Wednesday.

Antkoviak had a great showing at the Indiana Tech Monday Meet.  The freshman sprinter finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.02.  That time was good for an "A" and "B" qualifying standard for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships next month and is good for the third fastest time in the NAIA.  Antkoviak was also a part of the Tiger 4x400 meter relay team that won the race with a time of 3:57.99.

The Tigers are back on the track on Saturday, April 23rd as they host the ONU Tiger Open.  The events start at 9:15 a.m. with the racewalk with the rest of meet starting at 10 a.m.
