ONU COMPLETES SWEEP OF 2025 CCAC TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

JOLIET, Ill. – For the third consecutive season, the Olivet Nazarene University men's & women's track & field teams pulled off a sweep of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. The Tigers won both editions of the 2025 CCAC Outdoor Championships held this weekend at Joliet Memorial Stadium.

After winning the 2025 CCAC Indoor Championships by wide margins, both ONU squads won big at the outdoor meet. The ONU men racked up 262 points to run away with the banner over runner-up St. Ambrose at 215 points, while the Tiger women tallied 257 points to coast to victory. Viterbo placed second on the women's side with 178.5 points.

The triumph on the women's side also completes the first-ever CCAC running championship "trifecta" for ONU, having won all three of the women's cross country, indoor, and outdoor track & field conference titles for the 2024-25 year.

Joseph Randolph set a pair of new CCAC records to be named the Men's Track Athlete of the Meet. The sophomore from Wailuku, Hawaii, set new records in the 100m dash (10.39) and 200m dash (20.39) while also running the second leg of the winning 4x100m relay team (41.07).

Tylar Parker earned the CCAC Women's Athlete of the Meet distinction for the best all-around performance at the conference meet. Similar to Randolph, Parker won both the 100m dash (11.92) and 200m dash (24.41) while serving as the anchor of the top 4x100m relay squad (47.38).

ONU Head Coach Kyle Rago was named the CCAC Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year on both teams for a third straight season. Zontavius Johnson, ONU's sprints and hurdles coach, was named the CCAC Men's Assistant Coach of the Year.
