MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's basketball team opened up the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a 105-68 win over Cardinal Stritch on the road Saturday afternoon. Five different Tigers scored in double figures and all 15 players registered a point in the victory.
ONU scored a season-high 105 points in the ballgame. Olivia Dirkse led the way for the Purple and Yellow-Gold with a team-high 13 points off the bench. It is the freshman's third consecutive game scoring in double figures. Khendel Rolison (12), Olivia Demothenes (11), Bett O'Neal (10), and Caroline Boehne (10) rounded out the rest of the Olivet leading scorers on the day.
Caroline Boehne recorded her second double-double on the season with her first coming against Rochester back on Nov. 4. The senior center grabbed a season-high 16 boards to go along with her 10 points. Boehne is coming off the 2021-22 season where she led Tigerball with nine double-doubles.
The visitors made 14 three-point baskets compared to the Wolves' three. Anne Peters was the most efficient scoring all six of her points from beyond the arc at a 2-3 clip. Nine different players converted three-point attempts with Dirkse leading the way with three.
As a unit, the ONU team forced a season-high 28 steals. Maggie Cora swiped a team-leading four steals while Kaitly Engle, Dirkse, Katie Draper, and Jamie Finn each tallied three. 13 of the 15 players recorded a steal and forced CSU into turning the ball over 42 times.
