MELBOURNE, Fla. – Olivet Nazarene University softball wrapped up day four of the Space Coast Tournament with a split result, rolling past Bethel University 11-3 before dropping a 7-4 battle to Indiana Wesleyan.

ONU wasted no time setting the tone against Bethel, putting up four runs in the first inning and never looking back. Zoe Oshiro sparked the offense with a leadoff single before scoring on an error, and the Tigers capitalized on defensive miscues to add three more. After Bethel pulled within a run in the third, ONU answered with a run in the bottom half before breaking the game open in the fifth. Oshiro capped the scoring with a three-run triple as the Tigers plated six in the inning to seal the run-rule victory. Jauslyn Nells was steady in the circle, earning the win with five innings of work, allowing just four hits and no earned runs​.

Against Indiana Wesleyan, ONU jumped ahead early with three runs in the first, highlighted by Kahiwa Ili's RBI double. The Wildcats responded quickly, striking for five runs in the bottom half to take control. The Tigers trimmed the deficit with a run in the second, but Indiana Wesleyan added two more in the fourth to put the game out of reach. ONU was held scoreless the rest of the way despite solid efforts from Oshiro, Faith Mikos, and Gwen Bender, who each recorded multiple hits. Allie Timm took the loss in the circle, allowing seven runs on 11 hits across six innings​.
