OSHIRO GETS NOD AS CCAC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University softball infielder Zoe Oshiro was selected as the first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Player of the Week of the season. The conference announced its selections on Tuesday afternoon.
Oshiro got off to a great start to her Tiger career. In her first four games, the Pearl City, Hi. native amassed six extra base hits which included four doubles, a triple, and a homer. Oshiro also notched a pair of RBIs, three walks, and five runs scored. In all, the Tiger infielder went 9-for-15 (.600). In the field, Oshiro made eight putouts, six assists, and did not commit an error.
