SEARS GARNERS CCAC INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK HONORS
CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University's Noah Sears (Elkhart, Ind.) has gained the latest recognition of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced on Wednesday morning.
Sears set a new personal indoor record in the pole vault event to claim CCAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition. The senior won Olivet Nazarene's own Invite by clearing 15 feet, 11 inches on Saturday. The mark hit the NAIA "A" standard and ranks fifth-best in the association this winter.
