NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's track and field team also traveled to North Central College for the Pat Heenan Invitational on Saturday. 

The Tigers' best finisher in the running events was Andrew Hudson, who took second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.69, which is good for sixth in the conference.  Also, the team of Ben Tavares, Skyler Blanton, Alex Powell, and Ranulfo Bernadit took third-place in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:26.80.  Tavares also got fifth in the 60-meter dash and 6th in the 200-yard dash. 

ONU saw most of its success on the day in the field events.  Noah Sears continued to impress as he took another first-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 4.70 meters.  Austin Kasap then finished second in the shot put and third in the weight throw with marks of 14.67 and 16.97 meters, respectively.  Ivan Williams and Francisco Benavides, notably, finished fourth in the long jump and high jump, respectively. 

The Tigers finished with a fifth-place finish on the day with 70 points.

The Tigers host the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Conference Championships on Friday, February 18th through Saturday, February 19th inside the Perry SLRC.  Friday's action starts at 1 p.m. and Saturday's action starts at 10 a.m.
