BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University pole vaulter Noah Sears was selected by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) as the Men's Field Athlete of the Week as the league announced their selections on Wednesday.  This is the first such honor for Sears this season. 

Sears had an outstanding meet for the Tigers at the ONU Invitational.  Sears finished on top of the podium in the pole vault with a mark of 4.80 meters.  4.80 meters is good for fourth best in the NAIA and the best mark in the CCAC. In the meet, Sears set a new indoor Personal Record (PR) in the event. 

Sears and the Tigers host the Walter Cramer Invitational inside the Perry Center, on Saturday, February 5th.  Field events start at 10 a.m., while the track events start at 10:30 a.m.
