ROME, Ga. – Chatton Haws and Paul Saleh of the Olivet Nazarene University men's tennis team have been invited and selected to participate in the inaugural NAIA National Singles Individual Championships, presented by UTR Sports.

This new event will take place Nov. 1-3 at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga. Each member of the 32-player field will be guaranteed two matches, beginning with the Rounds of 32 and 16 Friday, the Quarters and Semis on Saturday, and finishing with the finals on Sunday. The bracket will be seeded based on each player's UTR ranking.

Haws, a Cedarburg, Wis., native, has had a terrific start to his sophomore campaign this year. He started the season by making it to the round of 16 in the ITA Regionals in September before picking up wins at No. 1 singles in both of the Tigers fall duals.

Saleh, a junior from Tiburon, Calif., has also had an excellent start to the 2024-25 season. After falling in the opening round of the ITA Regionals main draw, Saleh rallied to win three consecutive matches in the consolation bracket to make the lower finals.

"Chatton and Paul have worked hard all season and it's great to see that pay off with a trip to nationals," said ONU Tennis Head Coach Randy Haws. "We are very excited to see what these two can do on the national stage."
