WICHITA, Kan.– Addison Daily and Mason Beall of the Olivet Nazarene University swim and dive team swept the monthly Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Swimmers of the Month. The league announced its selections on Monday.
Daily, a freshman from Whiteland, Ind., had a stand out performance, earning 57 points, at the Wheaton Invitational. Daily won the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly, earning B-cuts in both of the races. Daily was a part of the 800-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay team that earned first-place finishes. She also placed second in the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle relay and this is Daily's first career KCAC Women's Swimmer of the Month distinction.
Beall, a sophomore from Rochester, Ind., also had a strong showing, also earning 57 points, at the Wheaton Invitational. Beall finished on top of the podium in the 500-yard and 1650-yard freestyle and finished second and third in the 200-yard freestyle and the 800-yard freestyle relay, respectively. Beall earned B Cuts in 500-yard, 1650-yard, and 200-yard freestyle races. This is his first KCAC Men's Swimmer of the Month of this season.
The Tigers jump back into the pool on Saturday, January 15th as they host NCAA Division II schools Davenport and Lewis. Action starts at 11 a.m. inside the Perry Pool. Spectators are allowed inside the venue but must be masked at all times regardless of vaccination status.
