Serni Batalla joins the Olivet Nazarene University men’s soccer staff in fall 2025. Originally from Artesa de Segre, Spain, Batalla will serve as a graduate assistant coach for both the varsity and reserve teams. 

Batalla had an exceptional playing career at Spring Hill College and Crown College, receiving all-conference, all-region, and all-American awards for his performance.

“Having worked with Serni previously, I am thrilled to be adding him to our staff here at ONU,” said head coach Jon Forsythe. “Not only was Serni an strong player with an excellent understanding of the game, but he was also a natural leader in the team and will make a smooth transition into his coaching role.”
