CONOR BUTTS WINS THE USF SPRING INVITATIONAL ON TUESDAY

JOLIET, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's golf team competed in the St. Francis Spring Invitational on Tuesday.  The Tigers finished in second place overall and finished with the best team 18-hole score this season.  

 

Conor Butts led the Tigers with a first-place finish as he shot a 68 (-3).  This is the first time a Tiger finished under par this season.  Jack Busch then followed behind Butts with a tied for sixth-place finish and carded a 72 (+1). With the score of 72, Busch set a new career-high for the lowest 18-hole score.  Kyle Spence and Caleb Stinespring rounded out the top-20 finishers for the Tigers and finished in a tie for 19th place.  Spence and Stinespring both wrote a 76 (+5) in their scorecards.
