SAINT ANNE, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's golf teams hosted the ONU Bill Johnson Fall Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The tournament took place at the Kankakee Elks Country Club. The women's side won with a score of +78 (654) and the men's side finished in tied for second with Wheaton College with a +13 (589). Roosevelt won the men's side with a -2 (579).
Conor Butts led the Tigers in both days of the tournament carding a -2 (142). Following Butts was Kyle Spence, who shot a +1 (145). Caleb Stinespring finished in tied for 20th with a score of +7 (151) and Caleb Poindexter rounded out the top 25 for the Tigers with a +8 (152).
On the women's side, Maragaux Catafort- - Silva won the tournament and carded a +9 (153). Following Margaux was Grace Miller and Kiana Krahulik, who scored a +20 (164) and +21 (165), respectively. Lydia Steier followed with a 10th place finish and Emily Hayhurst finished in 11th. Alexandria Jones followed with a 12th place finish and Cate Tompkins and Megan Oppenhuis rounded out the top 25 finishers for the Tigers, finishing in T-22nd and 25th place.
