ICE EARNS CCAC PLAYER OF THE YEAR TO LEAD RECOGNITION FOR TIGERS ON ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University placed a strong stamp on the 2026 CCAC Women's Golf postseason awards, highlighted by multiple honorees across the conference's top individual and team categories.

Leading the way was Taylor Ice, who was named CCAC Player of the Year, cementing her status as one of the premier golfers in the conference. Ice's standout season also earned her a spot on the First Team All-Conference, showcasing her consistency and dominance throughout the year. She led the way for the Tigers with a 81.1 scoring average, which included a personal best 76 during the first round of the Bill Johnson Memorial in September.

The Tigers' presence was equally strong on the First Team, with Lizzie Howard and Mya Jones joining Ice among the conference's top performers. Their selections reflect ONU's depth and high-level play, as the trio formed one of the most competitive cores in the league.

Olivet also saw multiple players recognized on the Second Team, further emphasizing the program's overall strength. Amelia Birge and Sophie Burns were both honored for their efforts, contributing to a well-rounded lineup that consistently competed at a high level throughout the season and culminated in a conference championship.

In total, the Tigers placed five student-athletes on the All-Conference teams, along with claiming the conference's top individual award—an impressive achievement that underscores the Tigers' success and prominence in women's golf this season.
