MELBOURNE, Fla. – Olivet Nazarene rebounded in a big way Monday, securing two wins at the Space Coast Tournament with a 9-6 victory over Hannibal-LaGrange and a dominant 10-1 win over Michigan-Dearborn. The Tigers' offense came alive, racking up a combined 23 hits across both games, while their pitching and defense held strong to secure the sweep.
ONU found itself in an early deficit against Hannibal-LaGrange, as the Trojans jumped out to a five-run lead in the first inning. The Tigers chipped away with a run in the first, another in the second, and one more in the fifth before erupting for six runs in the sixth. Faith Mikos and Gwen Bender each drove in three RBIs, while Alyssa McCord added two of her own. Jauslyn Nells settled in after the rocky start, going the distance in the circle with seven strikeouts while allowing just two earned runs.
Against Michigan-Dearborn, ONU carried its momentum into the second game, using a six-run fourth inning to take control. Zoe Oshiro led the charge with three RBIs, including a triple, while Mikos, Bender, and Shylar Boze each added run-scoring hits. Oshiro finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored. Olivia Saldana was dominant in the circle, allowing just three hits and one run while striking out three in a five-inning complete game.

The Tigers continue tournament play on Mar. 5th, with a matchup against the University of Fort Lauderdale at 10 a.m. CST.
