EDWARDS CLAIMS SIXTH CCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University's Eli Edwards earned his sixth CCAC Offensive Player of the Week honor after a dominant two‑game stretch. The senior posted 28.5 points per game, shot 73% (27-of-37) from the field, and added strong all‑around numbers with 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 steal per contest.
Edwards erupted for a career-high 35 points (17-of-22 shooting) in a 101–86 victory over Calumet St. Joseph before delivering a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double in a 90–67 win over Holy Cross.
His performances helped push Olivet Nazarene into a three-way tie for first in the CCAC, now sitting at 12–4 in conference play and 16–8 overall.
