2014-2015: Led Tigers to NAIA Division II National Championships, a CCAC Tournament and Regular Season title...CCAC All-Academic Team.

2013-2014: Played in 28 games, starting in five. Thorson averaged 14.8 minutes per game; averaged 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game; finished with a (.473) shooting percentage, a (.300) three-point percentage, and went (.667) from the free-throw line.

2012-2013: Played in 13 games, averaged 8.5 minutes per game; averaged 0.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.

Prepped at Unity High School in Tolono, Ill. He led the area in assists his senior season with 216. Named Second Team All-Area and Second Team All-Conference (2012). He also was named to four separate all-star teams his senior season.
