CHICAGO --- For the second time this season, Olivet Nazarene University's Jeremy Brassard (SO/Strafford, N.H.) has earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades, it was announced by the league office Wednesday morning.
Brassard, a sophomore, led a pack of 216 runners to claim the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships individual title with a time of 26:02 over the 8K, rain-soaked course on Friday. His performance also helped the Tigers gain first-place team honors at the 13-team meet.
Olivet Nazarene is currently ranked No. 13 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.
